The holding of the WACE-Asia
Pacific Regional Conference for Cooperative Education this July in
Bandung, Indonesia, hosted by the DPPK/CDPP, with PT. Telekomunikasi
Indonesia as its main national sponsor as well as WACE as its
international sponsor, can be seen as the culmination of the
continuing effort by the DPPK/CDPP to promote CO-OP as a partnership
program between Indonesian higher learning institutions and
industries.

Education, better known as "CO-OP Program", is a work based learning
strategy that combines classroom learning with experience, in which
undergraduate students in their senior year are interned at PT.
